Friday my count was at 63000. Recheck on 9/19 and another round of Rituxan is planned, which then total I'll have 9 rounds. Still don't have an official diagnosis, so I may not have ITP, but he did talk about last result would to take my spleen out. Its a waiting game and i'm a very patience person but I want to know whats wrong so I can move on in my life or make changes. So far I have had side effects, keeping my fingers crossed.

Maybe this isn't the best advice to follow since this doctor is making up his own treatments - you've heard a lot of advice about how 9 infusions of Rituxan is not a normal course of treatment. If he isn't well informed about Rituxan maybe he also doesn't know a lot about other treatments. Has he informed you of the risks of splenectomy or other treatment options?
