Can ITP with a level of 103 cause your nose to bleed? I had 2 nosebleeds in May.

There are so many reasons for nose bleeds, ranging from living in a dry cold or dry hot environments, to trauma, nose picking, rhinopathy or other sickness

I would think that if you're going to get a nose bleed it is more likely to bleed more heavily and for longer than usual with a count below the norm. I had one myself the other day at a count of 80 and it dripped everywhere.

Unlikely that it was because of your counts. Some people with ITP have platelet function problems so could be that, or any other number of reasons.

My niece used to get nose bleeds all the time and did not have ITP. They were pretty bad and very hard to stop. She needed to have her nose cauterized and once she did, they stopped.

Try using Vasoline in your nose to keep it moist. That might help....saline nasal sprays work good too.
