Please tell me friends , do you share the same.

Do you feel weakness ? I feel my head a little heavy. My face has swollen up. and I feel some dizziness at times. I can see my hands shivering at times.
I had Dexamethasane for 16 days
Also - Does Azoran affect the bones?

My doctor has asked me to lose weight alse "my knees will be a disaster" is what he said.
I am 15 kgs overweight.

here is my story
I have ITP since April 2006. I am 34 years old .

I started with a count of 2000 Platelets.
1. Was on cortisteriods for 6 weeks - It failed (April 06 to june 06
)
2. Then underwent splenectomy in July 2006 – SUPPER SUCCESSFUL
3. Lead an awesome life until Jan 2012 – I had NO PROBLEMS for 5.5 years. God is great.
4. Now again back in the hospital in Feb 2012 with count of 4000 platelets (nose bleed) and on DEXAMETASONE , AZORAN and RITUXIAN
5. Just finished the 5th week after Rituximab and my count on 5th March was 30,000.

I am having only Azoran as of now. I wonder if these are the side effects of Azoran.

The side effects of weakness and shaking could easily be the dexamthasone although Azoran, otherwise known as azathioprine can also cause weakness. As far as I know it isn't known for affecting the bones. It can take three months or so to start working.

thanks Ann

Today after 5 weeks I felt somewhat energetic. I went for a nice brisk walk and felt fine.
