Helo TO ALL MY FRIENDS

i am very worried about my cousion...she is 23 years old...and she is patient of ITP Last 5 years .

she platelates some time reduce some time increase ...DOCTOR Saying ..its a 2 solution...one she can take a tablet deltacortril long life .but tablet side effect also ..soiling on body ...and second solution..remove spleen then no problem for her life...so we are very worried about that..please advice what we can do....if we remove spleen so its normal..and normal platelates and not any danger her life after remove spleen...so we can spleen remove about any tention plz help me

There is no guarantee that spleen removal will cure ITP. Sometimes the surgery fails. Also, it is not normal to take steroids for life with ITP.

do you remember me sandi, my son got itp when he was 16 years old, two years off and on for ivig, steroid, all types of cortisone, and spleen removed on 04/10 , relapse after two month back to the hospital with 2k count, and remsion for 10 months but relapse and 3 times attack for last month , so sad . he back to cortisone again , he doesn't like to do rituxmab now , spleen removed did not help him,
