I have my doctors appointment on friday to see what my counts are..
2 weeks ago they dropped from over 300 to 152..

Today I found the first bruice on my leg.. Can't recall bouncing into anything..
I want my counts to be OK sooo badly.. but the bruice isn't predicting much good..

it's gonna be alright. I know how you feel about seeing the bruises though. Kinda a let down. I'm believing for good news for you though on Friday.

good luck with your doctor's appt. hopefully this is nothing and just a normal bruise like normal non-itp people get. I still get those occasionally even with normal counts. They come and go away quickly. =)

Joya everytime I bump into something I tell myself I'm going to remember it so that if a bruise shows up I'll know why. Do I ever remember - rarely! I think I should get a permanent marker and put an X on me where I bump myself and if a bruise shows up under the X then I know it is ok :)

We are going to think positive that you have a good count!

I also get unexplained bruises everytime my counts are low and it is often in places where it is really hard to just bump, but i wouldn't worry to much if it is just one bruise. If you start to get a lot of unexpained bruises, then you would have more of a reason to be concerned.

I always tell myself not to panic if it's just ONE symptom - and not several aligning to let me know my counts are low.

Normal people bruise. You could be just fine. Stressing about it isn't good for you. :P
