Health insurance with good coverage was created by ITPCanada
Hi

We recently moved to Aldie, Virginia from Canada. I am looking for some health insurance for my family. As you know my spouse is having ITP. His last count was 89000 in september. He is not on any treatment for ITP. But nobody knows when he/she will need any treatment.
Please advice any health insurance with good coverage in VA for ITP treatment/drugs/ Hematologist visits etc.

That's hard to answer. A lot depends on the type of Plan you have within a certain provider. There are many of them.

Also, it's really hard to get coverage at all if a person has a pre-existing condition unless it is a group plan through an employer. Then you sort of have to go with what they offer.

All you can do is call around and check costs, coverages, deductibles, co-pays and whether or not they will accept the family.

Hi

After few months of initial settlement time in Virginia, We choose Aetna Medicare health care with monthly premium of 128 dollars. Last count was 99,000. My spouse is doing OK with ITP and for his next appointment we will be looking for new haematologist soon. Now a days I don't visit pdsa very often. But you all are always in my thoughts and prayers, pdsa/people has always given me support and advice when needed. Thanks Sandi and Everybody !
