ITP affects new born baby was created by thuathien
My wife and I want to have one more child. I wonder that if I have ITP, then does the new child will have more chance to have ITP like me? Does ITP will have genetic? Thank for any input.

The chances of your child having ITP are very low. ITP is usually not considered to be hereditary, but the predisposition to inherit autoimmune disorders is. Having a child before ITP or after ITP does not change the risk.
