NEW TO SITE

Im new to this site i thought i might sare my illness story first of all forgive my spelling not very good with words okay here i go... I was a freshmen in high school 14-15 years old at home getin ready for the last day of school im still at home my nose starts bleeding and it wont stop it lasts a good 10-15 min so i skip the last day of school it stops and i feel fine that day the next day i feel a little off u know light headed a little bit it dosent bother me much later in the day siting on the couch watching some tv i just get sick and i vomit figured just need to eat i eat dinner i feel better i go to sleep later in the night i wake up and i puke agian in the bathroom everybody is asleep in my house so i dont wake anyone smart right but my stomach is killing me too i going number 2 every 10-15 min for like 2 hours i finaly get to sleep wake up my mouth if full of blood mostly dryed to my teeth my after i tell my parents about the night my father checks the bathroom bin too some of the toliet paper i wiped with turns out i was too tired and sick to notice that ive been pooping blood i go to the clinic they take blood they tell me the normal platelet range u know 150k to 250k something like that they tell me my platelet count is at one thousand i went through alot of tests i had like between 6-10 iv ig infusions had the spine test even did the steroids treatment eventualy i had my spleen removed they said it was going to be a 3-4 hour surgery i think it ended up taking 9 hours i guess bleeding issue because i was pale as heck when i woke havent had any sytoms sense thank you if you read this fell free to tell me your story i would love to know.

Hello Mark. I'm assuming your name is Mark since that's your sign in name. Anyway.....was this pretty recent that all this happened? Having your spleen out that quick is kinda weird. I'm also assuming that your weathered all the other stuff fine. Glad to hear your doing well.

Im not a big internet person just found the site for about 2 years i went back and forth from the hosptial for iv ig infusions to boost my count until they optioned for the spleen removal that was about 5 years ago and i havent relpased since.
