I have questions about your weekly Aussie/Kiwi ITP chat. How long does it last? Do you get a lot of people joining the group? I'm in the USA and co-facilitate a support group in Seattle. I've been trying to come up with ways to reach more people in Washington State -- some of them live east of the Cascade Mountains, which can be difficult, if not impossible, to cross in the winter. How does your online chat work? I would love to know anything you are willing to share. And what a great idea! I might have to steal it for our group. : )

Thank you so much.

Cathy

Hi Cathy8,
I have only participated in the Aussie/Kiwi ITP chat for just a few months, so I can't tell you very much. However I have found everyone to be really friendly, very supportive and compassionate. It seems to last approx 2hrs with around 6 people taking part, but the numbers can vary.
As I live in New Zealand it starts at 10pm and goes to midnight, at that point I go off to bed. Often at that time people from the USA join in too.
My wife & I have visited Seattle more than once and have a soft spot for your city and local area. You would be most welcome to join in on a Tue night and see how it works for yourself. Hope to see you there sometime.
Kind Regards,
Benny.
