Just out of interest, does anyone else get pressure headaches? ie the weather-related ones that come when it's been a warm possibly humid day and there's a storm coming, and it usually clears up once it's rained. How do you deal with them?

Have had a gorgeous sunny day here in the UK, then about 4pm full blown thunderstorm and a deluge of rain - it's stopped but the headache won't go and paracetamol isn't doing anything! Alcohol, ibopruofen and aspirin are naturally off the cards......

The weather affects me a lot too. I have constant sinus problems, but if it's cold or rainy, it's constant pressure. I take Advil Congestion Relief, use a steroid nasal spray and use a nasal rinse every night, plus my usual array of daily anti-inflammatories. I can't think of anything else to do and those don't help much.

Oddly enough, liberal use of plain saline solution nose spray usually works for me to keep 'weather pressure' from triggering a migraine. My sinuses have been messed-up since 1974.
The few times saline spray doesn't work, I end up with a migraine....then Imitrex knocks that out.

I get headaches when the weather changes too. I hadn't really associated them with sinus issues, but it's possible that I just hadn't noticed. I didn't notice the connection with the weather until one of my coworkers pointed out that it was always raining when I was complaining of a headache.

It's kind of too bad. I can avoid food triggers and wine, but there's not much I can do about the weather.

How do you use the saline, WeirdJack? Do you try to take it before the weather changes, or just use it all the time?

I've tried saline - didn't work. It's actually what I use in my nightly rinse too. The next day I'm stuffy again.

The weather affects my muscles and joints too. I should move to Arizona.

I just liberally spray saline solution up each nostril......often.
Doesn't work for everyone, works fair for me though.

I did try Australia! Went there to live on my own when I was 17.
I also tried Mexico in the Baja desert for 4 years....and a few other countries as well.
