My regular DR just prescribed Pravastatin because of my high LDL. Does anyone know if statins been shown to reduce platelet counts?

Is anyone on the forum diganosed with ITP currently using statins?

It depends on the person. Some people take them with no problems and some people don't. Most drugs have the potential to lower platelets, but that doesn't mean they will.
