Should I call doctor? was created by Elly78
Hi everyone,
I don't post often, in fact the last time I posted I was 35 weeks pregnant and being treated.

I now have a beautiful 7 mon old girl named Annabelle.

I last got my platelets check on 3/18 and they were at 40.

Over the last few days I have been noticing blood in my urine and stool. Aside from the normal bruising and fatigue and heavy menstrual cycle, these symptoms are new to me.

My question is, should I call my doctor? Or is this normal and ok?

Thanks,
Elly

Elly - it wouldn't hurt to call and at least see if you can get a CBC. It's possible that you are okay, but that should be checked out.

You should always get blood in urine or stool checked out.

I think such symptoms should always be checked - if for no other reason than peace of mind when the MD says "We can take care of this issue".
