Hi All,

I posted last week about my MCV being elevated and needing a bone marrow test. So I just got back results from my PCP. My MCV is now 106.9 so now its the hightest it has ever been. All other blood parameters are normal...platelets are great at 189k. reticulocyte is 1.0 which is also great and normal. I dont seem to be anemic because Hemaglobin is 13.6 and Hemacrit is 40.2. The only other question to this is that my B12 is 1013 which is high, normal range is b/w 211-911 and Folic Acid levels is high >24.0 but my doctors are saying this is good??? I have bone marrow scheduled for april 7th. Bu i am so anxious about his so I made an appointment with another hematologist for tomorrow to get a second opinion. Any insight about this? I started eating meat this week and havent done that in 6 years. Thanks!

Sorry Staci, I have no insight at all! I think a 2nd opinion is always a good decision though!
