I was reading the treatments for ITP and just read about H. Pylori/ITP. I am curious if any of you have been treated for H. Pylori and noticed that your platelet counts went up? It seems this should be a test we should have done.

It's not been found to be very effective for ITP in the U.S. Response rates are higher in Japan and Italy. However, it doesn't hurt to be tested and treated, if necessary. A lot of people here have been tested. Some have treated, and a small handful have had a short-term rise in counts.
