Headaches was created by grasshopper
I read somewhere that constant headaches can be a symptom of low platelet counts. Does anyone get this or is this information incorrect?

sorry can't help you there. I've never heard of that, and I never suffered from frequent headaches. Can you find where you read it?

I've never heard that either. It could be that headaches are caused due to stress of the disorder or the treatments.

When my platelets are dropping I get headaches, low grade migraines. It's a clue to me that my counts are dropping. Also when my count is low if I drink any alcohol I get a big migraine.

Maybe this isn't due to the platelets themself, but rather to my other underlying condition that causes the ITP.

I get headaches too when the counts drop. They are dull headaches and when I stand they get a little bit more intense. That's a big sign to me that the counts are under 50

Interesting.
I have had migraines regularly since 1972. I have a script for Imitrex to knock them out. However, I've had noticeably fewer migraines since the ITP diagnosis eight years ago. Most of those years with counts under 30k.
Go figure.

I have regular headaches too but they are like dull aches.
However bi-monthly I will get a bad migraine.
