Hi Benny,

I am living in New Zealand too. Originally from Australia. I hope you are not in Christchurch with all that is happening at the moment in the aftermath of the earthquake.

I hope you will join us if you can, in the chatroom next Tuesday ( 10.00pm NZ time )

Vanessa

Hi Vanessa,

Many thanks for your reply, next week my wife and I will be in Sydney, but I will join in the chatroom before too long.
Born and live in Hamilton, can't belive what is happening in Christchurch, have been there many times. To have a 2nd earthquake is just unbelievable and unbearable for the people in Christchurch. One can not help but feel for them and what challenges they must face.

Benny.

Hi Benny, Thanks for your note, I see Vanessa has answered you also, Vanessa is a very welcome regular with us, and as you know, also living in NZ. I am living in Sydney, but have quite a few relations in Auckland, who we paid a visit to a few months ago. Has your doctor diagnosed your low platelet level as 'ITP' ? Anyway you would be most welcome to join us whenever you are ready. And yes, the Christchurch Earthquake is tragic, I have been there a few times, it 'was' a beautiful City with beautiful people, I don't doubt the people will stay that way, but there is a lot of work ahead to restore the City. Hope to hear from you Benny, regards stebbo.

Hi Stebbo, have just got back from an enjoyable stay at Darling Harbour in Sydney. Went to the show Jersey Boys, China's Terrecotta warriors display and the Hunter valley wineries.Yes my doctor has diagnosed me with 'ITP' and the Haematologist has done a bone marrow sample. I was on 3mth check up's but 3wks ago put onto 6mth check up with 3 mth blood tests. MY doctor was giving me a blood test once per ann so from that we can tell my platelets started dropping 5yrs ago. I was diagnosed 18mths ago after I collapsed in Spain and had to go to hospital. Rgds Benny.

Hi Benny, That sounds like a very enjoyable time you had in Sydney and surrounds, the weather should have been pretty good for you also, as long as you don't mind it a bit warm. Hope to 'see' you on Tuesday night....Stebbo

Hi Stebbo, many thanks for your note last Tuesday. Don't worry about making no contact, as ITP is a life time condition so we have plenty of time to try again. Also I am no expert on computers so I was not sure if it was something that I was doing or not doing. SO if possible I will try again next week. Until then, regards Benny.
