Hi to all!! Odds Gamma GT values was created by mpulcin
Ciao to all!
I' watching my platelets count going down month after month. From 180.000 a year ago down to 154,000 then yesterday 86,000. Moreover my Gamma GT values are at 400 (maximum level is 51......)
Anyone has met this issue?
Thanks!!!

Why did they test your Gamma GT levels? Were your other LFTs off?

I did a complete screening and the two "not regular" values were platelets and Gamma GT.

If the other liver function tests were normal then it's probably nothing. Some of the causes of a high GGT are listed here..

It's certainly nothing to do with ITP although the low platelet count might possibly go with the GGT level and not be ITP either. I imagine your doctor said to do another test in a few weeks to see if it had gone back to normal.
