Just popped in to say hello..

[/color Hello and Merry Christmas to all....I havn't been on here for a long time, lots of reasons why but just plain being flat out being the main one.Trev had one hip replacd in August this year, wasnt a "run in the park" but all ended up being ok and we are being brave (stupid? lol) enough, to do it all again in Feb..hopefully,this will be the break he needs to be able to live a full and active life without all the pain he is in.. I still inject him with N-Plate weekly , and whilst his platelet count still sits well below 10 , he now has no active bleeding and all other cbc counts are normal...hope everyone is well..and this post works...i have forgoton how to post/reply etc..."blonde moment"..still swingin on that rope (for all u oldies...cheers Cathy

ok...so i will try again..:sick: .Hi Guys,, Just thought i would drop in and say G'Day. And wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year...Life is as hectic here as ever but that is life..Trev is going ok..he had his right hip replaced in August:S and although it was no "walk in the park" has recovered reasonably well...so..we are going to do it all again...either very brave or very stupid..havnt worked out which yet..lol.He will have his left hip replaced in Feb.:side: .hopefully then he will have some quality of life and be out of pain...if anyone EVER mentions the word prednisone to us again...we will throw two destroyed hips at them.. N-Plate has proved to be very beneficial to him, not so much with platelet count, but with having stopped ALL bleeding issues for 2 years..no 17 hour bleeding noses..no bleeding noses at all..yay...anyway..hope you are all well, and as i sit here i Australia in the 36 dgree sweltering heat..i feel for my american friends in their snowy isolation...(throw snowball my way lol) best wishes to all..and for all the older peoples on the site...yes..i am still swingin away on my rope!!! cheers cathy:)

Happy New Year! Hope everyone has had a good start to the year and may it continue all year through. Good to see you back Chot and Trev kicking. Can you blow some of that heat over to the UK please, i can't stand the cold now. Hope you haven't flooded anywhere like we see on tv.
We had a shitty start to the year, i had to take Sally our oldest dog to the emergency vet in the early hrs of ny morning & put to sleep, now Peter is having Liver problems.

So sad about your puppy! We had the same with my oldest dog a few weeks ago. Then Monday we had to return our foster dog we had for a whole year to his 'real' moms. Happy for the dog, but we are very sad.
