Is extreme PLT fluctuation normal after Dexamethasone? was created by sumbulali
I have been recently diagnosed with ITP. My count dropped to under 35 and my hematologist put me on Dexamethasone for 4 days. Three days after completing my Dexamethasone, the CBC showed Platelets count within normal range, but platelets started dropping and after 14 day the count has dropped to 50. I do not have any symptoms as of now.
Is this sudden fluctuation normal?

I've never had dex!  However my count would do big drops when trying to get off prednisone.
