I just did a meditation retreat this past weekend where I sat for several hours meditating cross legged on a cushion on the floor. Now my legs are covered in bruises and my legs feel a little achy. The bruising has never happened to me before to this extent. Maybe it's important to make sure your legs get enough circulation. Maybe sit with your legs elevated. I don't know.

Goo:

Here is a site that discusses blood clots in legs:

www.livestrong.com/article/81260-symptoms-blood-clots-leg/

It is possible to have a clotting condition with low platelets. However, the cramping could be due to many other things, ie Charlie Horses, etc. A person that only has ITP will usually not develop blood clots unless they have another clotting disorder such as APS or TTP.
