Fo ie everyone else (before some new drugs came out) I had my spleen removed on 2/14/1991. My V-Day present. The I went into surgery to 1000, I had to have platelets flows into I didn't bleed to death. Like the rest of you I had y last right read to e several times. lol.
Bu7t how many of you got lucky enough to wear a football helmet riding in the car?? Lots of fun at 17.
I'm now 37 twenty years later and having issues again. When I first going through it, docs weren't what the hell was the problem. I'm sure it was the same for you. They first thought Leukemia snd it got ruled out.
So now 20 years later I'm having issues again. The same crap from the ITP. My WBC is increasing to 30+ weekly and all y other counts ar way off, Docs tell me I ay have Leukemia or another type of cancer. 37 years old and I feel like life is over. Any advice from someone would be a great hello to let me now I', not alone. If's it's cancer then so be it. But tell me. I just feel do alone and pathetic.. I was hoping after the spleen was taken out I's d br fine. But after 20 years things change, I'd appreciate anyone to talk to that's going through to this, cause the worst part of it is feeling alone.
I'm throwing my my email out out there. Please use it for serious inquiries only.
