I have used Flonase for years without a problem. I never thought it was an NSAID. I also have taken high doses of NSAIDS for years with no problem. It all depends on the person, some people do just fine.

thanks sandi,
i still couldn't get a hold of my doc ! i'm not sure if its NSAID but have my doubts ! for me, my hemo thinks the cause for low platelets is the use of NSAID'S so, she askd me to stop them & my counts went to nrml ! she says for some, it's the NSAID'S that cause low platelets !

NSAID means Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug. So if the pharmacy says that it's a steroid, it can't be an NSAID. But of course it's always best to ask your doctor.

Fluticasone is a synthetic corticosteroid. I have used it for years for allergic rhinitis with no problems and with the approval of my hematologist.
