ITP Doctor in NYC Area? was created by Jermpollet5
Hi PDSA group!

I'm a new member whose wife was just diagnosed with ITP. I'd like to find her the best care I can- does anyone know of an ITP specialist in New York City or the surrounding area? I would travel many miles to find her the best doctor I can.

Thank you so so much! -Jeremy

Hopefully you have found someone by now, but if not, I received treatment from Dr. Matthew Weissler, through Westmed. I saw him in White Plains, but I believe he has other locations. I began seeing him for prenatal ITP, which unfortunately has become a chronic case. He is not an ITP specialist (I couldn't locate one at the time.....this was about 4 years ago), but I found him to be exceptional all around. I am no longer his patient only due to my relocating.
Is your wife pregnant? Do you know where you're delivering?
