I got an epidural at 70000 platelets but had to wait 3 days to get it out bc my platelets weren't cooperating but I am feeling a lot better and on my way to getting juiced back up and home:)!!! My son had to stay an extra night because of jaundice :( but his platelet count was 280,000!! This is Mason!

Keli - CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you!

I'll tell you what....you are one of the worst cases of ITP that I've ever followed here on the Forum. I can remember how many times you spoke about the fear of never being able to have a child. You are proof that it CAN be done. You sure went through a lot with all of the IVIG for months, and never complained about any of it. I am so proud of you (I feel like you're one of my kids)!

Enjoy that little snuggle-bum and give him a kiss from me!
