It is taking me f-o-r-e-v-e-r to:

1) Get the site loaded

2) Get to a thread

3) The site is NOT keeping me logged and I am checking the box to keep logged in

This is new and it really is a pain in the neck!!

I just had an odd thing happen too. I was using Internet Explorer and could not post - every time I did, the post would disappear. I switched to Firefox and it worked just fine. That shouldn't happen.

Regarding #3 - it is the Remember Me box I check. I just had to sign in again even though I checked it when I last signed in and had checked it but it didn't "Remember".

That would have been frustrating Sandi. Start copying your post before you hit submit and then if that happens you can just paste it.

Sandi, that's the exact same problem I had with posting, for several weeks.

So - wasn't remembered again. Decided not to sign in - clicked on a thread and was told I didn't have access to it.

Some things need to be fixed! :)

I don't seem to have the logging in problem but I do have something new since the upgrade.. usually when I come on some older threads say there are new posts in them when there aren't. It drives me just a little bit nuts looking to check every time. It's probably similar to your keeping logged in problem as it obviously isn't keeping logged properly which posts I've read.

In answer to Sandi's question of ages ago... I have a self built computer so not a particular make as all bits I bought separately, about 3 years old so not totally up to date it has to be said, with Windows 7 for the OS. It may be that my graphics card isn't totally compatible with Kunena forums, I will build a new computer soon and see.

I'm sorry, I did not see this topic because it is new and I was not subscribed to it.

***MELINDA (and anyone else experiencing similar technical problems), please try:

1. Changing your password, then logging-out and logging back in. Instructions for changing your password are here - pdsa.org/component/k2/item/327.html

2. It appears that many of the problems are happening because the forum software has been updated, but the Internet browser that is being used has not been. If you are using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, please check to see if there is an update to a newer version available.

Thank you, Jeff Cooper
