My newborn with low platelets was created by livinwITP
Hi Guys, it is me again. I decided to post this in the parents of children section to get more information. I am a parent with ITP but I have a newborn with low platelets because of my antibody transfer. My other children recovered in a week but this one is now going on three months and not recovered. Her platelet counts are still low. Does anyone have this experience on this board? Also, the baby recieved three doses of ivig and high dose steroids in her first week of life but without improvement. Anyone recieved more doses of ivig for their newborn?
