Getting ears pierced

Hannah wants to get her ears pierced. I'm not sure whether to wait until she's a bit older anyway, but can she get her ears pieced with a count of 20?

People have said to me that ears never bleed when you get them pierced so I was thinking that maybe piercing them would be ok. But I have just realised that as she bruises so easily ( always over 100 bruises on her) that could be an issue. I'm guessing that ear piercing is not a good idea?

I am quite new to itp so not much helps with platelet counts. I saw you had no responses though and was thinking about when I took my daughter last year for her ears. She does not have it but there was a tiny bit of bleeding and a fair amount of swelling. It was done by those air guns which I had heard wouldn't lead to any bleeding. It wasn't much, only a few drop, but there was some. The swelling would also make me think that if her platelets were low she might get some bruising there.

As I said though... Very new to itp so just wanted to give you feedback about the piercing itself!

My daughter had hers done with a count of 25 didn't bleed and very little bruise on back of ear but besides that all good

I had a picc line put in with zero platelets. That's inserting a tube into a vein plus cutting the vein open and I had very little bleeding. Surely the ear piercing would be ok.
