My 11 year old son, Dakota, was diagnosed with ITP in June 2002. My family is now looking at moving to Utah from Arkansas and I need to find a Peditrician in Salt Lake City and possibly a Hemotologist that is good to work with. We treated Dakota's ITP with WinRho and eventually ivig until 2007. Since that time, we have elected to do watchful waiting and only treat his symptoms. He tolerates low counts very well. That is until he gets to a count of 1 or 2 which we haven't seen in quite some time. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Sherry,

I'm one state over. I do not know of any doctors personally at this place but it was suggested to us when my boy had ITP because there were limited services in our city. healthcare.utah.edu/pediatrics/hematologyoncology/index.php
