Haemoglobinopathy?? was created by grasshopper
I have just received the standard letter from the hospital after my daughters appointment just explaining what was said. It says at the bottom who it is also being sent to which is normally just our doctor. This time I noticed that it is also going to the haemoglobinopathy nurse specialist. Does anyone know what this is a why she would also be sent the letter? (As far as I'm aware nothing is wrong other than platelet count.)Thank you

Haemoglobinopathy usually means things like thalassaemia and sickle cell but most likely the nurse that deals with that also deals with ITP.
