For the last two weeks or so Dougie's been getting loads of random bruising. He is getting one or two new ones every day, just in completely weird places - he has a big blue hematoma on his cheek for example, no idea where it came from. Even fully dressed, he is beginning to look like a battered child - I am always a tiny bit concerned that people will think that.

I think he must be under 10 or so, and my guess is that its more like 5. Its been a few months since he's been like this so I think we'd forgotten. Its naff! BAD BAD BAD!

Bah humbug to ITP. The only good part is when you need to take them to the ER, they get taken straight back to the trauma room. No hours in the waiting room.
