Today his platelets are 131k and he has not had a drop of Nplate since the end of July! He went away to a camp for a week and came back with a nasty cold that lasted a few weeks. We knew his counts would go up (Tim and I...his hemonc never sees him so how would he know). Anyway, so now over a month later and he's had no Nplate this whole time. I'm really glad we didn't do the Rituxan because we might have thought that was what did it. I'm not sure if it will last, but its possible, we'll see. He has had remissions and partial remissions in the past that last one to two years, so maybe. Its been three years to the month that he's been so low...hope it holds...at least for a while to give him BM a break from the NPlate.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. Though this is the longest he's gone without treatment for three years and his counts have climbed.
