His counts were 111, not bad, but the hemonc who NEVER sees him (once since we came here the first week in May) did not give him Nplate. I'm pretty sure we will be in single digits on Monday, or near them, but the hemonc wants to see what will happen. He's trying to get him to be at a safe level of about 50 and get a shot maybe every two weeks...

He's kind of really starting to get on my nerves. Tim has bottomed out twice since we've been here. 7k three weeks ago, 3k last week (after having been 150k and skipping a week of nplate). He came up to 111k after nplate the week before...so what does this tell us class?

Well see...

Donna, Changes of doctor are a real nuisance aren't they? You have to build up that relationship all over again and they have to understand the history and pattern. Having said all of that, Dougie has just changed doctors for the better - last week's visit was the first time I've come out of an appointment and not wanted to hit something (or someone). Maybe you just need to give the bloke some time?

Thanks for the opinion on treatment as well - the doctor definitely seems willing to start with rituximab and that's Dougie's preferred option, so we'll maybe suggest that.

How's your new home anyway?

Ali x
