Yesterday was our first day starting the trial of Promacta. We just had labs and eye exams and still have to wait for the drug to arrive. Wish us luck, although we recogonize this is not a cure it might give us some normality and the option of an oral drug seems appealing vs the IV. They did test her numbers and it has been 3 weeks since WinRho and she was back down to 14K already. We had been doing well but it seems as though the WinRho was starting to not work as well either.
