I am so happy that it took me forever to remember my username and I had to get a new password for this forum! I wanted to post a positive for all of you dealing with ITP. My son was dx with Chronic ITP at the age of 18 months. He just turned 9 in January. He has not had any symptoms for 5 or so years and I can't even remember the last time he had a cbc. Praise God! I just wanted to give all of you some hope in your struggle. It is possible for these chronic kids to remit. My son is living proof. Of course, it is always in the back of my mind that it could return, but for now, we are thankful for his healing. I pray for your children often! I couldn't have gotten through our ordeal without this support forum. Thanks!!
