We got some good news at Tim's last appointment. Tim's pediatric hemonc office sees patients into their adult years. They said as long as they behave themselves and show up for appointments, they will continue to see their adult patients. This is some good news. We are moving out of the region, but Tim is going to be 18 in June and plans soon thereafter to move back to Charlotte. Its good to know he will have a great hemonc available if he needs him. My other son, soon 29, still sees his pediatrician (Josiah is the one with the heart defect and MS). Of course, he'll always see a peds cardiologist because the adult cardiologists wouldn't know what to do with him. Its so great to have consistency and quality of care.
