There are many sessions specific to children with ITP and doctors who specialize in that area! I've not heard one bad report of the ITP conference. I've gone twice, very useful.

Some people even use pictures taken at the conference (by yours truly) as their profile picture. :laugh:

I've been the the conference, and found it very helpful. There are several times when there are sessions related to children's ITP scheduled concurrently to those for adults, and in the past there's been a special "Q&A" with ITP specialists that is specifically for parents of children with ITP.

I went to the one in Chicago a few years ago. Yes, there definitely are sessions geared especially to parents. What I found the most helpful was a breakout session with Q&A with some of the leading pediatric hematologists.

If you have the opportunity to go, I certainly would.
