In Canada, "Thanksgiving, or Thanksgiving Day (Canadian French: Jour de l'Action de grâce), occurring on the second Monday in October (since 1959), is an annual Canadian holiday to give thanks at the close of the harvest season" [ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thanksgiving_(Canada) ].

Traditionally we enjoy LOTS of Turkey and delicious freshly harvested vegetables. Since I've been married Steve and I usually have a Thanksgiving dinner with my parents and one with his. The only other time I eat this much is at Christmas! At least I have until December to recover!!

Happy Thanksgiving (albight late) to you and everyone, and of course happy Columbus day to those in the US. Is there some sort of holiday around this time across the "pond"??

We gave thanks for our son not bleeding ....you know its bad when!
