Julia is pronounced as:

The appostraphies at the top of the tick are slightly different but i thought it was quite strange. It's on Facebook get your name translated into Japanese, if i got it tatoo'd on me it could act as a double meaning.

When we lived in Tokyo I had a stamp [hanko] with Melinda on it so I could sign the sumi-e paintings I painted. When we moved to Hong Kong I got a chop with our surname on it - in fact I think every friend & relative got a chop for Christmas that first year.

I love how the Japanese say my name - it is hard to write it but it is so pretty how they say it.

Hee hee Melinda i love it, I love the Japanese people and i can't wait to go to Japan! The japanese name on facebook was different to the one you put up, it looks just like ITP but the I was a tick with " above it and to the side.
