TTP? Looking to make some friends. was created by ahall11
Hi-

My name is Addie and I am currently rounding up my recovery from TTP. I've tried to find groups for TTP specifically but everything seems to just be for ITP which is how I ended up here. I'm just looking to talk to some people who have had a similar experience to me as this has been a really hard road ( I spent the last 3 months in the hospital being poked and prodded which was not easy to handle at 23 years old).

If anyone wants to share it would be nice. Like I said, just looking to maybe make friends with similar experiences, possibly in the same age range. Most of my friends don't really understand what I went/am going through and its a bit frustrating.

Hi Addie - you're welcome to stay, but we don't have much experience with TTP. We've had a few people with TTP over the years, but they don't stay long. TTP is much more involved than ITP and the treatments are different. ITP doesn't often require long hospitalization.

I admire your courage as I know that TTP can be very scary.

I found this forum, not sure if it's current.
