Oh Milly - why I don't like snow

It is 5.30pm and the temperature is 6° and it was snowing most of the day on top of the snow that was already there [not that much to start with].

However -- the 6° has a RealFeel of -13 -- overnight low is to be 2
If the cloud cover sticks around it won't get as cold as it would if the skies are clear

Tomorrow is to be a high of 6° with an overnight low of -11

That's why I don't like snow, because it gets so darn cold!

I'm sure others are having colder temperatures - I do not like snow & cold any more!

How awful! We've had a mild winter so far, unusual for us. Went out with no coat a few days in a row.

Lol this made me laugh... It's a cool 80 deg here today, expected to be 95 to 100 in the next few days.... It's warm, we do get hotter. I must admit that I love the look of snow but I don't think I would handle that sort of cold for very long.

It's -15 with a wind chill of -23ish here today. At least there's no snow! I don't like either, but I'll take the cold over snow. We even had a white Christmas this year. Last year, there were people without power and more snow than we knew what to do with!

I just LOVE snow. I suspect that this is because we dont see that much of it, but nothing beats a good covering of the white stuff in terms of making the world look a better place IMO :-)

8.15am and it is -5 with a RealFeel of -7
Can't get the wind chill which I know is colder than -7 even though it isn't very windy.

One thing about snow is the outside Christmas lights do look so pretty shining through the snow - but darn this cold is miserable and today/tonight is going to be worse. I worry about pipes bursting so keep the heat turned up good.

The place I live is just west of the Blue Mountains, we do have the ocassional fall of snow, maybe an inch, it is so little snow compared to you guys but because we are so ill prepared even the smallest amount closes down everything... Roads, schools, businesses, I look at the snowfalls from the USA and wonder how things keep going

We have had snow here and it is cold - minus 18 with windchills even higher. We are, on the whole, used to this in the winter. At least we can say the sun is shining !!!!!

Milly where we used to live before moving here we would get an inch like you and yes the whole place shut down & people were nuts and got into lots of car accidents. Was crazy! Our sons didn't really know snow until we moved here - our 1st Christmas here was a raging blizzard, had so much snow we couldn't get out of our neighborhood for a week as the plows were busy on the main roads and not neighborhoods. Christmas dinner was roasting hot dogs in the fireplace. It was an experience for sure!

It is warmer today - right now 19°, but the snow is falling once again :(

Stay warm everyone [just pretend you live where Milly does!].
