2 weeks after reconstruction surgery on the thumb basal joint the dressing is off, stitches out and cast on - my son says I can get a job at the airport bringing planes to the gates. Figured having to be in this thing for 4 weeks I needed to have fun with it.

Thanks guys! So far it isn't keeping us awake at night. Had a friend tell me someone would have to be very drunk to hit me in a crosswalk.

Seeing that my hand/thumb is out of commission for over 6 weeks [after cast comes off I have to wear a brace and go to OT] it had to be a "fun" cast. If I thought rhinestones wouldn't scratch me overnight I'd probably try to glue some on ;)

How about glitter glue? Sparkly and smooth enough to sleep on! That would finish off your new look ;)

Lowest count 1. Highest count 207 (ivig) Indium scan showed predominantly splenic destruction. No meds currently, just seeing how things go.

That might work but I'd be afraid glitter would end up all over the sheets. Might just need to make a trip to the hobby store to see what's there :)
