I bring up this site in the morning and leave it up - when I need a break from my transcription work on the computer I check out Mom & Dad Eagle - they are so very interesting! There are 3 eggs in the nest and the other late afternoon I got to watch Mom [Dad] fly into the nest and then change places with the Mom [Dad] who was on the eggs and let their mate have a break. I've seen one of them bring up food for the other - I have yet to determine which is Mom & which is Dad, think Mom is the bigger one. Just wish it would warm up in Iowa, worried about the eggs.

Anyway thought some of you may enjoy watching the eagles.

Oh - and you don't have to sign in or up but you will have to put up with a commercial every now and then.

Is this your first season watching the Decorah couple?
I first found them two years ago and got absolutely hooked on them.

This 2012 video is one of the most hilarious things I've ever watched. Have seen in at least a dozen times, and it still makes me belly laugh. It looks rather boring until 1:06. That's when the action starts. Mom has the patience of a saint. Reminds me of the classic Letterman routine about his mom... ""I do and do and do for you kids, and this is the thanks I get!"

I've watched them a while too - I get so attached to them and the eggs & then the babies. Had not seen Dancing in the Rain - bless Mama's heart, she is a saint! And as the video goes on the more soaked she gets. Will send this to my sister.

Have you seen the Puffins - or the bears in Alaska going after the salmon?

By the end, she looks like a soaked dishrag, poor girl ... LOL

I haven't seen those other two cams. Will have to look them up. Would love those seeing bears, in particular.
I've seen cams for great horned owls and red-tail hawks. These are okay, but not as good as Decorah's, IMO. I just learned of another eagle cam in Georgia... That egg has already hatched. It's here ~ www.berry.edu/eaglecam/

Nature is so cool.

Oh she did look like a soaked dishrag didn't she?! Thank you so much for the Georgia eagles and baby - will open it along with the Decorah Family and then here's an eagle family with 3 eggs in MN, it has been so cold & snowy there I worry about them

This is the Puffin cam - they aren't back there yet though, we are being shown "old" videos of the Puffins. Last season I watched the baby in the Puffin Burrow

This is the brown bears at Brooks Falls - but again it isn't in season yet so will not see them live for now

You will find other cams when you go to the page for Puffins or Bears - glad someone is enjoying them besides me! Erica, hope you are enjoying them too!
