Since the day my Mom fell in January, everything else in my life blew up. It's been a rough time.

  • I developed hemolytic anemia in 1999 and ITP in 2005. Treatments have been splenectomy, prednisone, IVIG, and Rituxan.

We got the puppy (Ella Bella) two days after my Mom fell. She is three months old now, quite a handful! She's still into biting and nips poor Bailey constantly. She listens well though and is learning things fast.

We decided on the name "Ella" before we realized that her middle name would be "Bella" after her mother. That's why it ended up being Ella Bella, kind of corny, but oh well. We did the same thing with Bailey, named her "Bailey Bella" after her mother.
