I am now married to an ITP patient was created by desafina
A few months ago I shared my experience of discovering with my girlfriend that she has low platelet count. The information I have gained from pdsa.org and the forum has benefited us very much both in the knowledge aspect and moral aspect.

I feel that I want to share also the good things with you guys, so here they come :

Three days ago we got married :)
ITP sped things up a bit, and I am happy about it.
I already had the Ring I was going to propose with before discovering ITP,
But, When I learned what's going on, and how this could go sideways at any moment, I knew I wanted to be there for her, and didn't waste time.

So, here we are today :)

How cool is all that! My wife and I were young once, but it was a long time ago. Actually longer for her, she was/is a cougar! :)

Anyway, may God Bless and Keep You Both!

Jeffrey

Welcome to the club!

My wife Ellen has ITP, but I am the one scouring the message boards and journal articles. She works on keeping a positive mental attitude and staying healthy, while I'm her designated worrier. It works for us!

OMG what a beautiful bride!!!
