Thanks Milly. I have every hope that everything will be fine. I'm not looking forward to a night in the hospital, but hopefully I will just be able to sleep.

Of course you will sleep, they have the best drugs in hospitals. Plus the food has way improved, you can order from menus and some of it is pretty good. And you get cable tv. If you are lucky maybe the therapy dogs will come around.

Hospital stays seem to be very short these days, I remember twenty something years ago I had part of my thyroid removed and I was in hospital for over five days, 18 months ago I had all my thyroid removed and one parathyroid gland and was released after one day so hopefully you will not be there long and you can recuperate at home with those two beautiful dogs to keep you company.

I don't know if I'll be able to eat. Some people can't swallow for a few days (or weeks). I'll be happy to just sleep.

I had a surgery when I was 17 and was in the hospital for 7 days. Now they do it out patient. Insurance companies sure like to kick people out!
