After 11 long months unemployed I will start working again April 5, got the offer last week! I'll be a consultant with a software company, and traveling a lot. Many many thanks to another forum member who advocated for me in the company. Sorry to be a little vague, I'm recently more paranoid about google searches. Anyway - I applied for over 200 jobs and now I finally have one, a good one, I'm so pleased!

Anyone else who is looking for work - I'm an HR professional and would be happy to assist in any way including looking over resumes and coaching around interviewing or job search strategies.

that sounds wonderful! I'm happy for you. I hope you enjoy it as much as it sounds like you are going it! I hope that made sense. :laugh:
I'm only on a loa, but unless my count gets back up I don't think I'll be going back to my current job. I'm a waitress. ugh. Not a good job for someone with a low immune system!

Diagnosed with ITP 9/14/1980, the day oldest son was born, & it continued through the births of my other 2 sons and continues now! No treatments until March 2011 when I had a TKR and my count decided to plunge. Sons now almost 25-30. My spleen's still with me.
