Hi Sandi,

I've sent you a couple of PM's and assume you haven't seen them. Do you know how to completely delete a profile from PDSA so there is no longer an account? I have tried multiple ways to no avail.

thanks,

patti

Sorry Patti, no I haven't seen them. I'll check into it for you. Are you quitting us? I hope that's not true.

Life is too busy. I am tempted to check in here even when I don't need to. There is enough info in the natural section that someone so inclined could search the internet using info from that forum and get what they need. But I'd like to completely delete my account so long as doing so will not delete all of the posts I made (particularly in the natural forum section).

I don't have the capability to do that, so I have to ask the web guy. Give me a day or two.

I'm horrible about keeping up with PM's - definite time shortage.

Hi Patti,
Sorry to hear you are thinking of leaving this site, only when I have realized just how much you have to offer, and have started to follow your comments. I think you have a point of view to offer that can not be replaced. You will be missed, and I hope you would reconsider, and stay if only on a partime basis.

Anyhow, I would like to say you have made me rethink some of my options regarding treatments and thankyou for frank and honest opinions on matters, and say you have had an inpact on my views and life, even if I have not always agreed with you.

Kind Regards,
Benny.

Wow. Thanks, Benny. That was very kind of you. I pretty much call things as I see them which can certainly ruffle some feathers. I suppose life's experiences change us and between caring for my MIL that had MDS and leukemia for years and our boy's ITP I've had my share of doctors platelet issues.

When I went looking for how to fix our boy I could find few answers other then drugs. Hopefully for the next parent that comes along wondering what to do they'll have a bit more information here. This was the only site I could find anything worthwhile on when Luke was first diagnosed.

But life is busy........

Wish you well,

patti

Patti,

I'll also miss your input! I don't always agree with what you say and I am not convinced on the homeopathy.............. but its always good to hear an alternative point of view. and you have made me start to seriously consider the impact of diet.

Good luck, and I hope Luke stays well.

Patti, just wanted to say I also will miss your input and like the others I appreciate a different way of thinking after all this is a support group and although my experience with ITP has not been a long one, I am a believer in pay it forward. The truth be known I probably don't really need to be here but most of the time I have found support and understanding and I think if I can repay the help I have received I will.
Most of all I just wanted to say thank you for your suggestion with the side effects of the methotrexate and let you know you made a difference in my life.
I wish you and your family only good things for the future.

I can't take credit for that. It was April. :) But I'm glad it worked and it's a method we use in our house as needed. Best wishes to you.

Sandi, any progress on how to accomplish deleting a profile?

Patti - we just need to confirm. Does your last name start with 'S'? Do you live in a state that begins with "I"?
