I"m going back to work!!!!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: As some of you know, I had an interview yesterday. Well, I was offered the job on the spot and I took it!

I'm going in tomorrow to help set up the store as it's not ready to open yet. Can't wait! I'll keep you all posted on how it goes.

It's a novelty gift shop store. Not like gifts in a hospital gift shop. It carries a lot of different items. Yeah, I'm excited! :cheer:

Finished my first day and man am I sore!!!!! This was only set up today, store actually opens sometime next week. But I think I'm going to enjoy it. Hubby told me I was called from another place I had applied to and wanted me to go in for an interview on Saturday, but I don't think so. Hopefully this one will work out. I'll keep you all posted.

Day 2 is in the books! Not as sore as the first day. I guess we'll be officially opening on Tuesday. Still don't know what kind of hours I'll be getting, but I won't be too fussy. I'd like to get full time, but I have a feeling that will go to the managers friend.

Going in today, but off tomorrow. Hubby works of course!

Thanks Vanessa! It's a bit of a different type of store than I'm used to, but I think I'm going to like it. We started pricing things yesterday. Off today and in tomorrow. Of course, Steven works today! :( I don't think I'm going to be doing too much today!

Actually, I am! It's a bit different for me selling some of the stuff we carry. The only problem I have is the hours. I have a lot of 3 hour shifts, and from where I live to get to work, it's not really worth it for me. But I'll stay there until I can find something else.

Shame about the distance, but good it is going well. Hopefully you can find something closer to your home.
No problem with the asking, it is good to chat about something other than ITP sometimes, it is really nice to get to know other people and their everyday life.
