It was the same in Calgary - 30cms of snow - it looked beautiful. Today is the big melt.

We got a couple of cm's here in NB Friday into Saturday. Sunday and today, it's beautiful out.

We can expect at least one more big storm here before the really nice weather comes.

What made me shake my head was:
84° one day
and
32° and snowing the next

That's a big change in weather in a day.

Melinda -

It is crazy how quickly the weather can change. We've had a similar situation here in Virginia (right outside of Washington, DC), although not as drastic. Yesterday, it was in the high 80s and overnight we had torrential rains, high winds and today it's rainy and chilly (low 50s). Around here they say that if you don't like the weather, just wait an hour.

Your picture is pretty!

I live in Colorado jpb - I hope Nicole had a great time skiing and enjoyed her first visit to the US!!

Thank you Beth - hope things have calmed down weather-wise for you. We are still going back and forth but nothing as drastic as a 50°+ temperature change.

I am delighted she enjoyed her trip to the US and hope she can come back next year! A-Basin is a good place to ski - not all that far from us either.
