Hi JPB,

I live in New Zealand. Goody Goody Gumdrops is a sort of bubble gum flavoured ice cream which is pale green in colour with has has lots of soft lollies in it. Mmmm! It is made by Tip Top which makes most of NZ's ice cream, and depending on what country you are in - you may be able to find it as Tip Top does export to some parts of the world. :) :P :cheer:

The most popular ice cream in New Zealand is Hokey Pokey - a sort of creamy ice cream not quite vanilla in flavour with beads of hard crunchy, buttery flavoured lollies in it. Being Australian I have never developed a fondness for this one however.

I'd be interested in hearing if you manage to find Goody Goody Gumdrops. :)

Happy Hunting! :)

Server and JPB, I like the sound Mint Chocolate Chip!

I recently tried roasted almond - it was the most fabulous icecream I've ever tasted!
Have tried looking for a recipe to no avail . . as we live a couple hours from the city. It will just have to become my special treat occasionally. :P

In the Uk we have a company called beechdeans who do the most incredibly creamy ice cream (milk from jersey cows) so after a lot of umming and ahhing, I've realised I'm not bothered by traditional flavours - you can get them anywhere. So:

1 Beechdeans Honey and Ginger (sold in some theatres - you can also buy big tubs in Tesco)
2 My Mum's homemade lemon ice cream
3 Pizza Express Amaretti ice cream

I've also seen that Beechdean's now do an apple crumble, which i'm very interested to try!

But if i can't get any of those, I'm ok with chocolate or vanilla. HATE strawberry and mint choc chip. Never liked mint and chocolate together - separately they're fine!

Milly,

Puppy paws is a lot like Heavenly Hash; chocolate, marshmallows and little peanut butter cups. It's really yummmy.

Want a cool and refreshing ice cream flavor for any time of year? I love peppermint stick with brownie chunk ice cream together on a sugar cone. Edy's ice cream makes both flavors but I've also seen them at Friendly's around the holidays. YUM! Tastes kind of like a York Peppermint Patty.
